Where is your project?
Twenty-five Go Green LED models carry a DLC listing, 14 of them DLC Premium, the level many programs pay the top tier for; the listing for each model is on its product page and spec sheet.
This finder covers commercial and industrial projects. For home or residential rebates, check the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder or your local utility.
Which LED fixtures qualify for utility rebates?
Most commercial lighting rebate programs in the United States accept only fixtures listed on the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Qualified Products List, checked by exact model number. Programs usually pay a fixed amount per fixture by type and wattage band (prescriptive) or an amount per first-year kilowatt-hour saved (custom), and the amount is set by the utility, not by DLC. Go Green LED models with a DLC listing include the GGL-UFO12 and GGL-LHB09 high bays (DLC), the GGL-LHB10 linear high bay (DLC Premium), the GGL-WP09 and GGL-WP11F wall packs (DLC Premium), the GGL-AR09 and GGL-AR08 area lights (DLC Premium), the backlit panels and troffers (DLC Premium), the GGL-VT02 vapor tight (4 ft, DLC Premium), the GGL-TCP1515 canopy (DLC 5.1) and the T8 Type A+B, Type B and 8 ft tubes (DLC 5.1). What does DLC Premium mean for a rebate?
DLC Premium is the DesignLights Consortium's higher classification for luminaires and retrofit kits. In DLC's words, Premium products "must meet higher efficacy and lumen maintenance requirements and must also provide a driver ISTMT and information about integral controls." Many utilities pay a higher rebate tier for Premium products because they save more energy over their life; DLC Standard products qualify for the standard tier. DLC finalised its V6.0 requirements on November 3, 2025 and has announced a delisting on December 15, 2026 of products not requalified under V6.0, so check the model's current status on the QPL before filing. 179D Commercial Building Deduction
The Section 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Building Deduction lets building owners and designers claim $0.59 to $1.19 per square foot at the base rate, scaling with the energy reduction achieved, or up to $5.94 per square foot where prevailing wage and apprenticeship labor standards are met. The 2026 amounts are from IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32.
Go Green's DLC Premium models (the GGL-AR09 area light, GGL-LHB10 high bay, GGL-WP11F wall pack and the backlit panels among them) run 130 to 170 lumens per watt; each model's listing is on its product page. Combined with utility rebates, the effective cost of your LED retrofit can be significantly reduced.
Example: a 50,000 sq ft warehouse that meets the labor standards could qualify for a $297,000 deduction, or $29,500 to $59,500 at the base rate. Construction must have begun on or before June 30, 2026. Confirm your position with a tax professional.
