Common Questions

Custom engineering FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for custom fixtures?
We work with projects of all sizes. Standard custom modifications (wattage, CCT, lens options) have no minimum. For fully custom-engineered fixtures with new tooling, minimums vary by complexity — we'll discuss this during your consultation.
Can you match an existing fixture I need to replace?
Yes. Send us the existing fixture specs, photos, or a sample and we'll engineer an LED replacement that matches the form factor, mounting, and optical requirements while dramatically improving efficiency.
Do you provide IES files and photometric data?
Absolutely. We provide IES files for all standard and custom products, along with full photometric reports from accredited testing labs. For lighting design projects, we also deliver AGi32 or DIALux layout files.
What is included in a lighting design/layout?
Our complimentary lighting design service includes: fixture selection and placement, photometric analysis showing foot-candle levels, energy calculations comparing existing vs. proposed, ROI projections, and a full parts list with pricing. Just provide your floor plans or space dimensions.
What certifications can you provide for custom fixtures?
All our fixtures — including custom designs — can be certified UL Listed, DLC Premium, FCC, and Energy Star as applicable. We also support IP65+ ratings for wet/harsh environments and can work with project-specific requirements like Buy American Act compliance.
How does UVC fixture customization work?
Our UVC engineering team designs germicidal solutions for air, surface, and water disinfection. We hold 7 UVC patents and can customize dosage, wavelength, chamber design, and safety interlocks for your specific application. We provide log reduction data and can assist with any regulatory requirements.
What is the typical lead time for custom orders?
Standard custom modifications typically ship in 2–4 weeks. Fully custom-engineered fixtures with new tooling or prototyping generally take 4–8 weeks. We offer expedited timelines for urgent projects — just let us know your deadline.

Rebates & Incentives

Commercial LED rebate FAQ

See what your project qualifies for with our Rebate Finder.

How much can I get back from a lighting rebate?
Many commercial programs cover 30% to 70% of fixture cost, paid per fixture or per kWh saved. The exact amount depends on your state, utility, and the fixtures you install. Check what is available with our Rebate Finder, then we confirm your precise number before you buy.
Do I have to do the rebate paperwork myself?
No. We confirm the program, prepare the documentation, and work directly with your utility so the rebate actually lands in your account. That service is included when you buy your fixtures from us.
Are Go Green LED fixtures eligible for rebates?
Yes. Our fixtures are DLC Premium listed, which is the qualification standard almost every utility program requires, and Premium products typically earn the highest available rebate tier.
Can I combine a utility rebate with the federal 179D tax deduction?
Usually yes. Utility rebates and the Section 179D deduction (up to $5.81 per square foot) generally stack. 179D currently applies to projects that begin construction on or before June 30, 2026. A tax professional confirms your specific 179D eligibility.
What if my state or utility has no program?
You very likely still qualify for the federal 179D deduction, and we will check for local or electric-cooperative incentives in your area. There is almost always a path to savings.
Are the rebate amounts shown guaranteed?
No. Programs change and budgets can run out mid-year, so the amounts are a research-based guide. We confirm your exact, current rebate for your specific project before you order, so there are no surprises.
